The Made in Manitoba Model

The information we seek is now available and the province-wide organizational survey is adding value to our qualitative research work. For further information go to the Resource Centre and see the quantitative survey information under Reports, Research and Speeches section.

Expected in January 2003 will be the final report on the results of the quantitaive survey of organizations in Manitoba. The themes are broadly focussed on elements of organization sustainability and stability. We will place the notice on the "Whats New" section in this web site.

We will also be including information on our June 27, 2001 Scenario Planning Workshop, which explored current social trends impacting on the future of voluntary action in Manitoba, trends which include:

  • demographics change

  • the economy

  • government

  • technology and innovation

  • the community

  • media convergence

This information may be of interest to you as it may not only be a Manitoba phenomenon, but be similar to your area of the world. We can learn from each other!

Be sure to keep current with our Resource Centre and Whats New section for briefings, summaries, documents, reports and statistics to help you best understand the challenges and sustainability of our voluntary sector.
